He made the statement while being received by Dinh Tien Dung, Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, on December 16.
During the reception, he congratulated the outstanding achievements in economy, politics and society of Vietnam in general and Hanoi in particular in recent years, especially the success of the 13th National Party Congress and the 17th Congress of the Party Committee of Hanoi.

According to Mr. Leonid Kalashnikov, the recent visit of President Nguyen Xuan Phuc to Russia once again demonstrates the importance of this relationship. He also affirmed that in the near future, with his role in the State Duma of Russia, he will continue to promote plans to support investment activities of Vietnamese enterprises in Russia, as well as promote investment activities of Vietnamese enterprises in Russia, as well as Hanoi's projects in Moscow. On this occasion, he expressed his wish that the city authority create favorable conditions for the Moscow house project in Hanoi to soon start construction and become a place for cultural exchange and investment between the two sides.
Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung thanked the KPRF for awarding the Lenin Prize to CPV General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, and affirmed the close relationship between Vietnam and the former Soviet Union, now the Russian Federation. “The Party, State and people of Vietnam have received valuable sympathy and support from the Soviet Union in the wars of resistance against the invaders for independence, as well as the recovery period after the war,” he said, adding that the Hoa Binh Hydroelectricity plant, built by the Soviet Union, is a meaningful symbol of bilateral friendship and also marks the period when Vietnam began its national industrialization and modernization.
The Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee went on to say he hoped that in the coming time, the two countries will continue to exploit the potential of cooperation from the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) signed in 2015 between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union led by Russia.
According to Secretary Dung, Hanoi currently has 5,922 cultural and historical relics in the area and many other intangible cultural heritages, many of which are over 1,000 years old. This will be the basis for the two sides to promote cooperation in the field of culture, thereby promoting tourism and service development. Regarding the Moscow house project in Hanoi, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung pledged to focus on directing so that the project could be implemented soon./.
