Isolation foundations completed in HCMC for Covid-19 fight

(CPV) - All 24 districts in Ho Chi Minh city have completed the establishment of concentrated isolation foundations in the fight against Covid-19.

The city is continuing medical quarantine activities at railway stations and airport to promptly detect suspected cases and those who come from infected areas, for isolation. Additionally, it has also increased inspection and checks on the health of those who come from some localities in the northern province of Vinh Phuc.

As of February 23rd, the city did not report any suspected cases of Covid-19.

At present, 38 cases remain isolated at the city field hospital, 16 at district isolation foundations, and 54 are isolated at home.

The city International Health Quarantine Center has worked with relevant agencies to inspect the cruise vessel Crystal Symphony which landed Sai Gon - Hiep Phuoc with the period of stay in the city of February 22nd-24th. None of the 145 passengers and 536 crew members have had any symptoms of fever or breathing problems/.
