The Ho Chi Minh (HCM) City People’s Committee has just issued a Plan to organize cultural and artistic activities to welcome the New Year 2025.

Accordingly, the city will organize an artistic fireworks display, scheduled from 0:00 to 0:15 on January 1, 2025, with two locations: a high-altitude show at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel (Thu Duc City) and a low-altitude show at Dam Sen Cultural Park (District 11).
The countdown program to welcome the New Year 2025 will take place on the night of December 31, 2024 at Nguyen Hue walking street (District 1), Bach Dang Wharf Park and the floating logo area on the Saigon River.
In addition, the southern hub will arrange art performances in districts: 12, Tan Phu, Binh Tan, Binh Chanh, Hoc Mon, Cu Chi, Nha Be and Can Gio on the nights of December 31, 2024 and January 1, 2025.
On this occasion, the city will organize many sporting activities such as the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City Marathon, International Martial Arts Festival, and the 2025 Cycling Race on Mai Chi Tho Street (from Dong Van Cong intersection to the intersection in front of the old toll station of the Saigon River Tunnel)./.
