Ho Chi Minh City enhances economic cooperation and people-to-people diplomacy with China

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai highlighted the continued positive development of the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China and emphasized the many significant achievements in various fields resulting from this relationship, while hosting a delegation from the China International Friendship Exchange Association led by its Chairman, Ji Bingxuan, on December 3.

During the meeting, Mr. Hai affirmed that the Party, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City highly value maintaining and developing relations with Chinese ministries, sectors and localities. He expressed a desire to enhance economic cooperation and promote exchanges between localities. Currently, Ho Chi Minh City maintains cooperative ties with eight Chinese localities and this year has welcomed many senior leaders from various Chinese regions, strengthening the bonds of friendship and collaboration between the two nations and Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Ji Bingxuan shared that the purpose of this visit was to learn about Vietnam's and Ho Chi Minh City's ongoing reforms and to promote people-to-people exchanges. He expressed his readiness to foster dialogue and strengthen cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City, advancing the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries in a more substantial and practical manner.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged experiences in Party building, contributing to strengthening the traditional ties between the two Parties, nations and peoples./.
