Before the heroic spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, former prisoners respectfully expressed their infinite gratitude for his merits for the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and nation. He devoted his whole life to the people and the country, leading our Party and people to achieve glorious victories. Fulfilling Uncle Ho's sacred will, our entire Party, army and people have completed the cause of liberating the South, reunifying the country, and leading the whole country to build socialism.
Before entering the mausoleum to visit Uncle Ho, the delegates watched the documentary film "The last hours of Uncle Ho's life". Many members of the delegation burst into tears when seeing Uncle Ho's image again. For many members of the delegation, the day they received the news of Uncle Ho's death was when they were imprisoned in harsh prisons such as Con Dao and Phu Quoc.
On the same day, the delegation went to the K9 relic site, Da Chong (Ba Vi district, Hanoi) to offer incense and flowers to President Ho Chi Minh. This is one of the historical, cultural and special sites associated with President Ho Chi Minh from the time he was alive until his death.
Previously, in the journey "Following Uncle Ho's footsteps", a delegation of Ho Chi Minh City’s former political prisoners and prisoners of war came to offer flowers to Uncle Ho's monument at Ho Chi Minh Square in Vinh city (Nghe An)./.
