Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Duc highly appreciated Mr. Takagi Kuninori's visit at a time when Vietnam and Japan are about to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations next year, which will contribute to the expansion of diplomatic relations and further cooperation between the two countries in general, and Ho Chi Minh City and IUHW in particular.
He expressed his pleasure that the Vietnam - Japan Health Check Center at Cho Ray Hospital is operating effectively, contributing to health care for the people of Ho Chi Minh City as well as the southern provinces.
Regarding the plan to build a health care center of Sanno Group in Ho Chi Minh City, he said that Ho Chi Minh City is particularly interested in people's health care. Although there are more than 120 hospitals in the area, the health system is still unable to meet the health care needs of people and neighboring provinces. Therefore, the city welcomes the Sanno Group's plan to build a 100-bed high-quality healthcare center. In addition, the city is also very interested in training high-quality medical human resources and hopes that Sanno Group will support the city in this issue.
Sharing about human resource training, Mr. Takagi Kuninori affirmed that IUHW has many programs to train health human resources for countries, including awarding medical scholarships to Vietnamese students, as well as providing professional training for doctors at Cho Ray Viet Nhat Health Check Center. With the desire to bring high-quality medical services to the people of Ho Chi Minh City in particular and Vietnam in general, Mr. Takagi Kunimori hoped that the city leaders will create favorable conditions for the Sanno Group's health care center to be built in Ho Chi Minh City, so that people have a more reliable medical examination and treatment address./.
