The Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front on July 2 received over VND279 billion from 23 organizations, businesses and individuals for supporting equipment for COVID-19 prevention.

Of which, VND130 billion came from the Van Thinh Phat Group Supporting Foundation Corporation, VND33 billion from Vingroup, VND30 billion from Duy Tan Company, VND10 billion from the Pouyuen Vietnam Company, and VND7.5 billion from the Khang Dien House Trading and Investment Joint Stock Company.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front, from March 20 to July 1, the city received over VND867 billion, including over VND745 billion in cash and over VND122 billion in medical equipment and goods, from agencies, collectives businesses and individuals, for support of COVID-19 prevention
Over VND734 billion in cash and goods have been allocated to COVID-19 fighting forces in hospitals, medical stations, isolated areas and those in border areas. The money has also been spent supporting COVID-19 affected poor people.
Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the State President, so far, 105 collectives, businesses and individuals in Ho Chi Minh City have registered to contribute more than VND2.293 trillion to buy vaccines against COVID-19. The Ho Chi Minh Fatherland Front has received more than VND270 billion in cash from collectives, businesses and individuals to support the purchase of COVID-19 vaccines./.
