Southern hub plants trees to show gratitude to Uncle Ho

On April 24, Binh Chanh District held the launching ceremony "Tet planting trees forever grateful to Uncle Ho" and launched the general environmental sanitation, restoring order on the roadside.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Tai, Vice Chairman of Binh Chanh District People's Committee, said that following the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh, every year, Binh Chanh District always pays attention to planting trees and taking care of trees to create a green, clean and beautiful environmental landscape.

“This practical activity is a cultural beauty, contributing to beautifying the landscape and environment, improving the quality of people's lives, and at the same time learning and following President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style,” Mr. Tai emphasized.

Leaders of Binh Chanh District called on agencies, organizations, schools, companies, factories, industrial parks and all people in the district to actively respond to the movement "Tet planting trees forever grateful to Uncle Ho" and launched a general environmental sanitation campaign, restoring the order of the roadside so that the environment becomes greener, cleaner and more friendly, and worth living.

On behalf of the youth of Binh Chanh District, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vinh Loc A Commune Pham Thi Thanh Tuyen promised to actively plant trees with all the spirit of the highest sense of responsibility, while continuing to encourage and mobilize all youth as well as their families and relatives to well implement the movement of planting trees to protect the environment, contributing to mitigating climate change and building rural areas.

After the launching ceremony, the delegates, together with leaders and people of Binh Chanh District, participated in planting 300 trees along 2,150 meters./.
