Receiving the delegation, Dinh Thi Lua, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, confirmed that the visit to Vietnam by Danish guests will open a new stage of development in the two countries' cooperation relationship, towards effective and sustainable cooperation.
She briefed the guest on the province's potential and advantages for tourism and industry development, saying that the province is particularly interested in green production and using renewable energy towards green transformation.
Elizabeth said the Danish Royal Family has time-honored relations with Vietnam. The ongoing visit to Vietnam by Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary Elizabeth not only deepens the existing relationship but also further promotes bilateral cooperation, opening up new development steps in the Denmark-Vietnam relations, she added.
She assessed Ha Nam as a province with strong industrial development. Denmark has large enterprises specializing in green fields such as green product production, wind energy, and efficient energy management and use, who are ready to cooperate and share experience so that the two sides can work together towards a common goal of promoting green transformation.
On the same day, Crown Princess Mary Elizabeth attended a meeting and exchange program between Danish businesses and businesses in Ha Nam province about green transformation and efficient use of energy in industry.
Speaking at the meeting, Tran Xuan Duong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee confirmed that Denmark and Vietnam have close and long-term friendship and cooperation, especially in the field of energy. Since the establishment of their diplomatic relations in 1972, the bilateral relationship has been increasingly developed in many fields, bringing many practical results, meeting the aspirations and interests of the two countries' people, he said, adding that several businesses in Ha Nam province are using modern technologies of large Danish corporations.
He expressed his hope that Ha Nam’s businesses and Danish businesses will exchange, share and learn from each other to find cooperation opportunities in the future. “Ha Nam will welcome more Danish businesses and investors to invest in the province,” he said.
On this occasion, Crown Princess Mary Elizabeth and the Danish business delegation visited Xuan Thanh Cement Factory in Thanh Nghi Commune, Thanh Liem District. The second cement production line of the plant uses equipment and technology designed and provided by the FL Smidth Group (Denmark). The delegation also presented gifts to students of Thanh Nghi Primary School and visited Tam Chuc tourist area./.
