Ho Chi Minh City’s high-level delegation visits Ho Chi Minh School in Mongolia

On July 3, within the framework of their visit to Mongolia, the high-level delegation from Ho Chi Minh City, led by Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo Member and Secretary of the City Party Committee, visited the Ho Chi Minh School in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar.

Accordingly, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen and the delegation laid flowers at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh, toured the Ho Chi Minh Traditional Room on the school campus, and interacted with and presented gifts to the students and the school's management.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the students of Ho Chi Minh School, dressed in traditional Mongolian and Vietnamese costumes, performed cultural performances rich in Mongolian cultural identity and songs about President Ho Chi Minh.

Speaking at the visit, Secretary Nguyen Van Nen expressed his joy at visiting the Ho Chi Minh School on its 75th anniversary and the upcoming 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Mongolia. He also thanked the school’s teachers and students for their warm hospitality and the special performances.

He acknowledged the activities and achievements of Ho Chi Minh School, especially those related to learning about Vietnamese culture and President Ho Chi Minh. He emphasized that the activities of the school's teachers and students contribute to maintaining and spreading the solidarity and friendship between the two countries and peoples, adding he believed that these achievements would continue to thrive in the future.

On behalf of the Party, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City, he presented the school with 10 sets of computers, aiming to enhance the facilities and provide better conditions for the teachers and students in teaching and learning, meeting future needs.

He expressed his wish that the students would gain outstanding academic achievements, helping them become talented individuals who will contribute to building a prosperous and happy Mongolia. He also hoped they would further nurture the good friendship between Mongolia and Vietnam, promoting sustainable development.

Ho Chi Minh School Principal E. Gungaajav expressed gratitude for the affection and support from the Vietnamese people in general, and from the Party, government and people of Ho Chi Minh School in particular, which he said helped improve the learning environment for the students.

Providing information about the school’s activities, Principal E. Gungaajav stated that the school has approximately 6,000 students and 238 teachers and staff. The school is distinguished by its honor of President Ho Chi Minh’s legacy—the great leader and outstanding cultural celebrity. The students are educated about the culture and customs of the Vietnamese people, according to Mr. E. Gungaajav./.
