President of the Assembly of Mozambique Esperanca Laurinda Francisco Nhiuane Bias expressed her great impression about Quang Ninh Province, a locality known for Vietnam's impressive socio-economic development achievements in recent years.

Being on an official visit to Vietnam, she expressed her impression during a reception hosted by Nguyen Xuan Ky, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, on June 18.
According to Ms Esperanca Laurinda Francisco Nhiuane Bias, Mozambique is the 11th country out of 72 countries and territories where Vietnam has investment activities. Cooperation between the two countries is focused in the field of agriculture. The two sides have many cooperation projects to share experiences and train in technical development of agriculture and fisheries; and maintain effective cooperation in the field of education and professionals.
With the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, she said she believed that this visit will further promote the relationship between Vietnam and Mozambique in general and with Quang Ninh Province in particular, especially in the fields of agriculture and telecommunications technology. “I hope that more Vietnamese businesses will invest and develop their businesses in Mozambique,” she added.
Expressing his honour to welcome the delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Mozambique to Quang Ninh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Ky briefly informed the delegation about the province’s potential, advantages and economic development situation. He stressed that with the system of economic and social infrastructure, especially transport, urban, tourism and service infrastructure, which is increasingly invested methodically and synchronously, as a bridge between Vietnam and ASEAN countries and a locality with the first position for 5 consecutive years in the Provincial Competitiveness Index, Quang Ninh possesses many conditions to attract and bring success to foreign investors.
He also voiced his hope that after the visit, the President of the Mozambican Assembly will help encourage many businesses, investors, and people from her country to invest and travel in Vietnam, including Quang Ninh.
On this occasion, the host official invited the Mozambican delegation to visit Ha Long Bay, a renowned world natural heritage site in the province./.
