Lao Party General Secretary and President pays tribute to President Ho Chi Minh

As part of his State visit to Vietnam, on September 11, Lao General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith, along with his spouse and a high-ranking delegation from the Lao Party and State, laid a wreath and paid tribute at the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh. They also laid a wreath at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs on Bac Son Street, Hanoi.

Lao General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith, his spouse, and the high-ranking delegation from Laos paid their respects to President Ho Chi Minh, the great national hero and outstanding cultural figure of Vietnam.
The wreath from the delegation bore the words: "President Ho Chi Minh lives forever in our revolutionary cause."
Following this, the Lao Party General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith, his spouse, and the high-ranking delegation laid a wreath in memory of the heroic martyrs at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs. The wreath carried the inscription: "Eternally remembering the heroic deeds of the Vietnamese revolutionary soldiers."
Earlier, on September 10, Party General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith attended the official welcoming ceremony at the Presidential Palace, held with the highest protocol reserved for heads of state. He held talks with Party General Secretary and President To Lam, met with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, former Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, and received delegations from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association./.
