The CPV and the PT have many opportunities to cooperate in training and fostering revolutionary ideals for young people, thereby upholding patriotism and national pride for the next generations.

Mr. Alberto Anaya Gutierrez expressed admiration for the struggle for national liberation of the Vietnamese people and President Ho Chi Minh. The success of Vietnam today is underpinned by the role of the CPV. He said that Vietnam has also promoted the thought and vision of President Ho Chi Minh very well to develop the country. He also assessed that it is very impressive that Vietnam maintains a growth rate of over 5% after the COVID-19 pandemic.

He also expressed his wish that Vietnam will continue to promote the results achieved as well as maintain the study of President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia highly appreciated the close support of the Mexican people and the PT for the Vietnamese people. He also said that while Vietnam's development indicators in 2022 really impressed international friends, Vietnam's economy is currently facing a lot of challenges from global issues such as climate change, environment, epidemics and international conflicts. “In 2023 and the following years, Vietnam must recover socio-economic development after the pandemic, creating a favorable environment for businesses to invest and do business,” he added.

Meeting Sofia Carvajal, secretary of international affairs of PRI, the Vietnamese official thanked the PRI and Mexican people for supporting Vietnam in its past struggle for national liberation and reunification, as well as the nation building and safeguarding cause at present.

The Communist Party of Vietnam wants to continue tightening and further developing its traditional cooperation with the PRI in all fields for the benefit of the two countries' people, as well as for peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

During the working trip, the Vietnamese delegation visited and offered flowers at President Ho Chi Minh's Monument in downtown Mexico City.

To make the monument space always lively and meaningful, Mr. Nghia suggested that the Vietnamese Embassy in Mexico coordinate with Mexico City to regularly pay attention to, decorate and organize meaningful activities on introducing the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh to the Mexican people and the Vietnamese community in Mexico./.
