At the reception, Mr. Mon expressed his pleasure to welcome Mr. Luis Enrique González Acosta and members of the delegation to visit the PCC Commission on Popularization and Education, stressing that the delegation's visit came at an important time when the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly was taking place and the 6th meeting of the PCC term XII was a great success.
Introducing some basic features of the PCC Commission on Popularization and Education to be the advisory and assisting agency of the PCC, he expressed his excitement about the effective cooperation between the Vietnam News Agency and the Cuban news agency PL in recent years in the fields of information exchange, printing and distribution of Vietnam Photo Newspapers, expert cooperation, and support of each other's resident reporters. He appreciated the cooperation programs between the two news agencies of great significance, contributing to enhancing the understanding and traditional friendship between Vietnam and Cuba.
According to Mr. Mon, the upcoming cooperation programs between the Vietnam News Agency and the Cuban news agency PL are very meaningful, especially as the leaders of the two news agencies agreed to coordinate in organizing the photo exhibition in Vietnam and Cuba on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Cuban leader Fidel Castro's historic visit to Vietnam.
Highlighting Vietnam’s great achievements over the past renewal process, he noted that hostile forces have not ceased to give false views and slander to fight back and destroy the ideological foundation of the Communist Party of Vietnam. “Therefore, the press agencies need to resolutely fight against false and hostile views; identify this as a constant, enduring and long-term struggle and one of the cross-cutting tasks,” he said.

For his part, President of the Cuban News Agency PL, Luis Enrique Gonzalez Acosta, thanked Mr.Mon for the warm welcome to the delegation.
He said Cuban people, as well as Cuban press and reporters, always follow news about Vietnam through the Vietnamese press system.
Reporting the results of the working session with the Vietnam News Agency, Mr. Luis Enrique González Acosta affirmed that the cooperative relationship between the two news agencies is a strategic relationship, especially in carrying out the mission to fight against the false information of hostile forces.
Affirming that the relationship between the two Parties, the State and the people of Cuba - Vietnam is very good, he added that it is necessary to further strengthen cooperation between Cuban and Vietnamese media agencies to strengthen the understanding and traditional friendship between the two countries./.
