So stressed Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC), Head of the PCC Commission on Popularization and Education, during his phone talks with Huang Kunming, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, on August 30.
During the phone talks, Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized that the relationship between Vietnam and China has continued to see good development in all aspects in recent years. Especially since the beginning of the year, despite difficult travel conditions due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the two sides have maintained a regular exchange channel in many flexible forms, achieving positive results. Recently, at the invitation of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Vietnamese Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong led a high-ranking delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam to attend and deliver an important speech at the virtual summit between the Communist Party of China and political parties around the world.

According to Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, the two countries need to enrich and diversify exchange activities between the two peoples, especially the young generation and those who do theoretical research, media publicity, publication and editors, thereby firmly consolidating the social foundation for the long-term and sustainable development of the relationship between the two Parties and countries.
He affirmed that the Vietnamese Party, State and people consistently attach importance to maintaining and developing good and sustainable cooperative and friendly relations with the Party, State and people of China. He expressed his hope that the two Parties and countries would work together to overcome difficulties and challenges and bring the Vietnam-China cooperation and friendship to continue to achieve greater achievements in the new era.
For his part, Huang Kunming introduced the situation in China and the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee.

He proposed directions for cooperation between PCC Commission on Popularization and Education and the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee in the coming time, including enhancing exchanges and sharing experiences in information, publicity and Party building work of each country through exchange of delegations; staff training, press-publishing, publicity and translation of each other's classic works for publication in each country; and promotion of cooperation in culture and tourism.
Both sides agreed to conduct more conferences, seminars and workshops to share experience in issues of shared concern via videoconference, while maintaining communications between major units of the two commissions and effectively implementing the agreement on cooperation and exchange mechanisms between the two commissions, thus contributing to the development of the traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China./.
