Preparing decorative multi-coloured lanterns for Mid-autumn

From the fifteenth day of lunar July, streets in districts 5 and 6 in Sai Gon (Ho Chi Minh City) are always glistening with decorative multi-coloured lanterns for mid-autumn season.

 It has become the custom, from the fifteenth day of the lunar July
(wandering souls day), Luong Nhu Ngoc street and the surrounding areas
start to be crowded with both locals and tourists who come
to visit and buy lanterns
 

            Children are eager to come to these glistening, colourful streets 

 A boy is enraptured when his mother buys him a sparkling star
with sound effects

              Three boys are struck with wonder among hundreds of toys 

         A salesclerk is delighted to greet and play with young customers

 The lanterns in the form of the angry bird game

          These lanterns are inspired by the international balloon festival in 
            Phan Thiet, so they immediately attract the attention of visitors

           Young people love to come here and take photos in the evening

                    Photographers in decorative coloured lantern streets

Mobile shops also appear to serve customers

Traditional lanterns of Vietnam attract customers because of
their simple and lovely designs
