In recent years, the local authority in Dong Phu Commune, Chuong My District, has been very active in seeking to create conditions for people to have jobs and increase their incomes, especially in the bamboo weaving industry.
Currently, the commune has 1,321 households with 80 percent of them active in this industry. Although the industry does not bring high income, about VND50,000-70,000 per person daily, the job is suitable for farmers aiming to improve their lives.
