Yellow colour in Mu Cang Chai

(CPV) – Mu Cang Chai, a western district of the northern province of Yen Bai, situated at the foot of Hoang Lien Son Mountain rising to a height of 1,000 metres, is famous for its terraced fields which were recognized as a national beauty by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

During late September and early October, rice on the terraced fields in Mu Cang Chai ripen and the harvest begins. From Khau Pha Pass, everywhere is overwhelmed by the yellow colour of the season, which charms people’s hearts.
