On October 21, over 1,000 young people in Hanoi joined a program showing the youth’s affection for Spratly Islands through 80 images and documents taken from delegations to the islands over the past four years which were introduced during an exhibition entitled “Youth journeys for nation’s seas and islands”.

Through the exhibition, the organizers – the Vietnam Youth Museum and the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, wanted to transmit a civic message and the determination from the Spratly Islands to the youth and people across the country, so that each person can raise greater awareness on the significance of the protection of national sea and island sovereignty.

The exhibition also encouraged people to contribute their strength and intellect to constructing and protecting the national sea and island sovereignty.

The exhibition will last until October 23.
