“Hanoi – Saigon” sculpture exhibition opens in Hanoi

(CPV) A sculpture exhibition titled “Hanoi - Saigon” by 16 artists from both the north and south of Vietnam is taking place at the exhibition room, Hanoi University for Culture.

The “Hanoi – Saigon” sculpture exhibition is organized two times a year and will be consecutively held in both the south and north.

Bui Hai Son sculptor, head of the organizing board, said beside professional factors, the exhibition also aims to create an exchange platform between sculptors in both the north and south of Vietnam.

The 9 artists from Hanoi include Dao Chau Hai, Nguyen Ngoc Lam, Thai Nhat Minh, Vu Quang Sang, Nguyen Huy Tinh, Khong Do Tuyen, Luong Van Viet, Pham Thai Binh and Tran Trong Tri.

The 7 artists from Ho Chi Minh City include Bui Hai Son, Phan Phuong, Hoang Tuong Minh, Tran Viet Hung, Vinh Do, Nguyen Hoai Huyen Vu and Tran Mai Quoc Khanh.

The first exhibition was held in Ho Chi Minh City in 2010. This year the exhibition displaying more than 30 new art works is scheduled to last until November 25 at the Hanoi University for Culture.
