Twenty one blocks of stone on Spratly Islands sovereignty

Apart from precious documents and exhibits affirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Spratly and Paracel Islands, there are the images of fishermen and soldiers who protect the nation’s sovereignty day and night, together with 21 blocks of stone on Spratly Islands sovereignty.

The exhibition will last until November 30th.

 

 On November 25, an exhibition on Vietnam’s borders, seas and islands was held in Thua Thien – Hue province to widely promote the images, documents and exhibits affirming the historical and legal right, as well as the country's determination, to protect its integral sovereignty. Twenty-one blocks on Spratly Islands sovereignty were on display at the main hall of the exhibition.

 

 The title on Spratly and Paracel Islands being Vietnam’s attracted the audience with documents and bibliographies.


 

 The 100 year-old Chinese map, published during the Qing Dynasty, indicates that the most southerly point of China is Hainan Island, and does not include the Paracel and Spratly Islands.
