10,000 people run for children

On December 2nd in Hanoi, despite unpleasant weather, some 10,000 people joined in the 2012 Run for Children to raise funds of over VND1 billion to treat child cancer patients and give heart surgeries for poor child patients.
The event was held by the Canadian Embassy in Vietnam, the Canadian Business Association in Vietnam, the Vietnam – Canada friendship association and the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations.
