Youth Union's 10th Congress raises its colours

The 10th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, term 2012 – 2017, under the theme: “Youth Aspiration for National Construction” officially started in Hanoi on December 12 at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi.

Over 1000 delegates, including locally elected youth representatives and outstanding youth union members, are representing over 7.03 million youth union members nationwide.

These are the elite from the minorities, religions, armed forces, businesspeople, intellectuals, workers, peasants, pupils, students and also youth union members who are studying or working abroad.

The Youth Union Congress has focused on the role of young people in economic development, national defence and social security in the last five years and aims to help young people fulfil their aspirations, helping them set up businesses and stable lives. The 10^th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union will run until December 14.
