Hanoi decorated for Tet

The central streets in the capital and around Hoan Kiem Lake are luxuriously decorated with flowers and multi-coloured lanterns to welcome the coming Lunar New Year 2013.

 

    In recent days, many streets near Hoan Kiem Lake have taken on
         a festive air with luxuriously colourfully decorations. Ba Trieu
 and Hang Khay streets are decorated with diamond-shaped lanterns.

 

Trang Tien Street is full of pink peach blossom-shaped lamps 

Peach flowers and yellow apricot blossoms are displayed
 at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
 

 

At the August 19 Garden, workers are rushing to complete
 the decorations.
 

 

       In the area around the Ly Thai To Statue, welcome plates are
                                        created out of flowers.

 

 Around Hoan Kiem Lake

 

                 Flowerpots are displayed at Cua Nam intersection 

 

                   A flower gate is created near Ngoc Son Temple  

 Vincom Trade Centre 

        Artificial flowers decorate the Dien Bien Phu – Chu Van An
            traffic circle, in front of the headquarter of the Ministry
                                          of Foreign Affairs.

 

   It is less than a week until the Lunar New Year 2013
