Vietnamese Commando Corps exercise for combat readiness

(CPV) - Bringing into play the tradition: “Special fighting skills, bravery and heroism, resourcefulness and boldness and striking key locations to win big victories”, the Commando Corps still exercises for combat readiness to protect national independence and sovereignty in peace.
The Vietnamese Commando Corps is a special elite force of the Vietnam People’s Army. In fact, its excellent fighting abilities and resourcefulness have been proved and their exploits in battles have even been embellished like legends during the past wars.

From its foundation, the Commando Corps has drawn special interest
from the Party and State. In peace, the direct leadership of the Party to the
Commando Corps is an important factor which makes the Commando Corps
the basis of martial arts in Vietnam. In the photo, State President

on the occasion of the Lunar New Year Festival. |

After 45 years fighting foreign invaders, building and developing its force,
on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of its traditional day
(19/3/1967 – 19/3/2013), the Commando Corps has been presented the
Hero of the People's Armed Force title as an acknowledgement
by the Party and State. |
