A glimpse of Da Lat city

(CPV) – Da Lat city of Lam Dong province will celebrate its 120th birthday in 2013 (1983 – 2013). It is an ideal time for tourists from across the country to visit Da Lat.
Da Lat is the capital of Lam Dong province in Vietnam. The city is located 1,500 m above sea level on the Lang Biang Plateau in the southern part of the Central Highlands. Da Lat is a popular tourist destination in Vietnam.
With a population of 135,000, Da Lat is like a small European town with fresh air and a cool climate - the annual average temperature is about 18C.
With such unique characteristics, Da Lat is a prosperous centre of culture, tourism, and subtropical agriculture of Central Vietnam, particularly the Western Highlands.
