Unique Vietnam – Japan Spring Festival

The Vietnam – Japan Spring Festival which opened on April 20 attracted thousands of visitors. It was a part of the activities celebrating the 40th year of the establishment of the Vietnam – Japan diplomatic relations, aiming to strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
 
 Mikoshi, a kind of sedan which is used in Japanese festivals at temples, started off the festival.
 
Although there is no real sakura at the festival, the artificial one attracted great attraction from visitors.
 
 The vivid opening ceremony included Japan’s traditional Yosakoi dances, performed by students who are learning the Japanese language.
 
 Beautiful costumes together with skilled moves.
 
 The photo exhibition highlighting the Vietnam – Japan friendly relationship.
 
 Stalls at the festival attracted many visitors.
 
 Eagerly taking part in wood beating.
 
 Learning about Origami paper arrangement.
 
 Japanese food also attracted visitors.
 
 The traditional Sushi was a favourite of young people.
