Nearly 40 ancient objects in copper, porcelain, pearl, gold, silver and fabric, and ancient drawings dated from the Nguyen Dynasty were on show at the Hue Museum of Royal Fine Arts (the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre).
Mr Phan Thanh Hai, Director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre, said that the exhibition aimed to encourage people to donate ancient objects for the State-owned museum system, as ancient objects are being lost.
The Hue Museum of Royal Fine Arts, built in 1923, is one of the three largest museums in Indochina. There are currently over 10,000 ancient and precious objects dated from the Nguyen Dynasty and ancient Hue housed in the museum.
