"Vietnam at Peace" is a collection of the historical documentary photos of Vietnam after competing for independence and continuing to rise up eagerly during the process of recovering the country after the war.

British photographer Philip Jones Griffiths has long been famous for documentary photo collections such as "Vietnam Inc.", which describes the resistance war against America in its fiercest period, and the photo collection "Victims of Agent Orange - Long-term consequence in Vietnam". His name in world photography circles is associated with the subject of Vietnam.

A lesser-known photo collection of his titled "Vietnam at Peace" records images of Vietnam in the postwar period. Griffiths was one of few reporters returning to Vietnam from the beginning of the period of building the nation after the war.

From the early days when Vietnam was struggling in difficult times, facing the formidable influence of the resistance war against America, Griffiths was here and recorded hundreds of photos of the daily life of the people in the years of deprivation.

This is not merely a documentary photo collection depicting places destroyed during the war, it still retains the emotional moments, describes the new hope of the people of Vietnam for the peacetime.
