In May, Dien Bien City seems to be more bustling to welcome its most important day – the celebration of the 59th year of the liberation of Dien Bien (May 7), the day of Vietnam’s victory over the French invader.

This year many relics have been restored and upgraded to welcome veterans and tourists from different parts of the country.
