Harvest in the ancient village of Duong Lam

Visit Duong Lam ancient village these days, and you will see a traditional agricultural Vietnamese village with hard-working farmers who put great efforts into the harvest.
Currently, 90% of households in Duong Lam still grow rice as their main income. However, human resources for working in the fields are short. Young people are no longer keen on farm work, as it is hard and has low income, so they find other jobs in cities. The area of cultivated land in Duong Lam is not fully exploited, many fields are left fallow. "90% of households in Duong Lam Village are still farming. But farming is very hard and farmers are poor," a farmer shared.
