Central Highlands gong festival opens in Hanoi

(CPV) – On November 19, the Gong festival in the framework of the “National great solidarity – Vietnam cultural heritage week” opened at the Culture – Tourism village of Vietnamese ethnic groups in Dong Mo, Son Tay town, Hanoi.
Traditional rituals and festivals of 17 ethnic communities from 12 cities and provinces will be featured during the festival.
The “National great solidarity – Vietnam cultural heritage week” is co-organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Management Board of the Culture - Tourism village of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups.
The cultural event, is expected to honour the Vietnamese cultural identity at the common house for 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups.
