5th Voluntary Heart Festival held in Hanoi

(CPV) - On December 7, the 5th Voluntary Heart Festival co-organised by the Hanoi Blood Donation Youth Association and the Central Institute for Haematology and Blood Transfusion, took place at Hoa Binh park in Hanoi.

With the message “Connect volunteers: Share blood”, the festive day was in response to the International Volunteer Day (December 5).

The Festival attracted about 1,000 voluntary youths. Many practical activities took place during the festival, including “Voluntary colours” camping festival; “Connecting voluntary hearts” music festival; parading to express “voluntary strength” by voluntary units and clubs across Hanoi area, and honouring of 10 typical young volunteers – for the life of the patients.

It is a meaningful activity, reflecting the voluntary community's compassion for needy patients.
