Newly-constructed Vietnamese National Assembly House

On October 3, Prime Minister Nguyen Tang Dung made a working visit to the new National Assembly (NA) House to assess the progress on construction. The Prime Minister concluded that the unique building is of modern design and high-tech infrastructure that represents the largest construction of its kind since reunification in 1975.

 

 The NA House, situated on Doc Lap road in Ba Dinh district, is 39 meters high with a total ground area of 60,000 square meters.

 The first floor with spacious lobby

 Seen from the first floor, the green dome is the main meeting room of the House.

 

 Corridors are alike in each floor.

 

 The 100-seat press conference room.

 The meeting room of the NA Standing Committee with a system of 6 screens to help deputies easily follow the meeting.

 

 This room will be used to hold the October session of the NA Standing Committee.

 

 Electronic devices are imported from foreign countries.

 The 2-floor hall has been well equipped.

 

 Final details are being completed.

 

 Tables in the hall are domestically produced.
