Blood donation serves children during mid-Autumn festival

(CPV) - The National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (NIHBT) on September 19th held a blood donation festival entitled “Mid-Autumn festival for children 2015” which attracted thousands of volunteers in Hanoi.

The festival was the gathering of thousands of young people who are living and studying in Hanoi. |

A lot of young people came to the NIHBT to donate blood and join activities of the festival. |
 |

With the large number of blood donors, the doctors were very busy transferring blood. |
 |
|
According to the organising committee, the festival was expected to collect some 2,000 units of blood from 10,000 participants. |
 |
|
The festival also attracted older people. |
 |
|
After three years, the festival has became a gathering of kind-hearted people, showing the solidarity and love for unlucky children. |

Pham Tuan Duong, NIHBT Vice President, said that the festival was of great significance for the patients. |
