Nhat Tan bridge, one of the key constructions of Hanoi, was put into use on January 4th, 2015.

Nhat Tan, with a length of some nine kilometres, is one of the seven bridges crossing over the Red river.

It is considered one of the bridges that has most unique design in Vietnam to be a 6-span cable-stayed suspension bridge.

It is also one of the three bridges having the largest number of suspension spans in the world, built by
Japan’s cutting-edge technologies.

The construction helps to link the city’s centre with industrial zones in the north and shorten the length to the
 Noi Bai international airport.

From high vision, Nhat Tan bridge looks like a band of silk crossing over a river. The unique architect makes it a new
typical symbol of the capital city.

With eight lanes, the bridge surface is 33.2 metres wide.

At night, the bridge is brightened by sparkling lights.
