Some of the outstanding projects include:
Lam Vien square
Construction was inaugurated in August 31st, 2008, and now completed. The square provides an area of 72,405 square metres, including main constructions, the traffic system, the power and plantation system, the stand and functional areas.
The symbol of the square is the flower-shaped artistic palace with an area of 500 square metres, seating 1,000 persons, where artistic performances and meetings are held.
Dai Nga hydroelectric construction
Being constructed since 2012 with a capital of VND350 billion, the plant has a capacity of 10MV, producing 44 million kWh per year.
DH 91 road upgradeThe project to upgrade the district road DH 91 in Cat Tien district was inaugurated in June 2012, using capital of over VND158 billion. Having been completed, the construction has a length of over 8.8 kilometres, playing an important role in local socio-economic development.
Lien Dam pre-school
A pre-school has been constructed in Lien Dam commune in Di Linh district with capital of VND513 million, providing an usage area of 102 square metres with a playground of 400 square metres.
Lam Dong provincial Labor Cultural HouseBeing marked an outstanding cultural construction, the project has been built on an area of 19,700 square meters, including a hall containing 750 seats. The facility has been used for meetings and for cultural and sports activities.
Heart Unit – Lam Dong general hospital
The Heart Unit in the Lam Dong provincial general hospital was invested with VND2.5 billion from the Health Ministry for training fees and the establishment of the tele-medicine system; VND22.2 billion from the Lam Dong provincial People’s Committee for modern medical devices; and VND1.8 billion from the Lam Dong provincial general hospital for training and equipment. It plays the role of a satellite for the Gia Dinh People’s Hospital in Ho Chi Minh city.
It marks positive progress of the provincial health sector in mastering high technology, providing heart disease treatment with lower expenses for local residents, and saving the time for rescuing heart patients, thus reducing the fatality rate.
Upgrade of Dac Mang village roadThe Dac Mang village road has been concreted with a length of nearly 2 kilometers and a width of 5 meters. With a VND7.2 billion investment from the State budget, this is a life-line road for trade exchange between Lam Dong province’s Dam Rong district and Dak Nong province’s Dac G’long district./.
