21st founding anniversary of "The Wall"

(CPV) - On the evening of March 26th, a music program to mark the 21st founding anniversary of the music band “Buc Tuong” (The Wall) took place at the Au Co Theatre, No.8 Huynh Thuc Khang, Hanoi.
Born on March 26th, 1995, The Wall in general and its founder Tran Lap in particular
have always been considered as pioneers, the passionate symbol of
generations of Rock fans in Vietnam.
This year, the program was organized shortly after the passing of team founder,
musician and singer Tran Lap. The program was a tribute, not only by the team’s members
but also the fans, to the symbol of Rock in Vietnam.
The fans arrived very early to light candles to commemorate the talented band leader.
Not only making a valuable contribution to music, musician and singer Tran Lap
is considered a symbol of the spirit, energy of struggle against difficulties and fatal disease.
Thousands of fans sang together the famous songs of the band like
“Duong den ngay vinh quang” (Road to the glorious day);
and “Bong hong thuy tinh” (crystal rose).
The Wall has released five records and held more than 10 live shows.
Musician and singer Tran Lap passed away on March 17th in Hanoi after four months
of battling rectal cancer.
The music program was also a chance for the fans to share stories of the past 21 years
with the band and its founder Tran Lap.
Tears fell often in the eventful atmosphere which was full of emotion.
