The harvest of cinnamon in Van Yen district, the northern mountainous province of Yen Bai, is an attraction for tourists along with Muong Lo festival in Nghia Lo district and Mu Cang Chai terraced fields.
Beautiful Dao ethnic girls become more attractive at Van Yen cinnamon tree festival.
Cinnamon is often harvested in March and August.
