Over 97% of rural families in Dak Lak province have access to national grid

So far 100% of communes and over 97% of rural families in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak have been connected with the national grid, serving the demand for production and people’s daily lives, said Nguyen Van Than, Director of the provincial Power Company.
Over the past years, the company has invested thousands of billions to construct, repair and upgrade 360 kilometres of 35 kV line, nearly 3,700 kilometres of 22kV line, and over 4,600 kilometres of transformer line.
The company has also constructed 4,000 transformer stations, producing 1.3 billion kWh, while creating favourable conditions for coffee and pepper production areas to install the national grid for irrigation.
Thanks to access to the national grid, AmaHoa’s family in Cu Pui commune can buy audiovisual devices.
Residents in Yang Mao commune, Krong Bong district, find it more convenient in agricultural production and breeding thanks to power.
