Every lunar New Year festival (Tet), the Nhat Tan flower village in Tay Ho district, Hanoi is overwhelmed with peach flowers and kumquat. These days, villagers are eager to prepare flowers for Tet.

This year, peach flowers blossom early, forcing planters to sell flowers before Tet.

Flowers planted in Nhat Tan village are more special than those planted in other places.

Some white peach flowers which are found in mountainous regions are also planted in Nhat Tan village.

A warm winter this year makes flowers blossom earlier than previous years.

Farmers have to sell peach flowers before Tet.

Planters find ways to delay the blossoms until Tet.

Kumquat is ripening faster than previous years.

Inconvenient climate reduces the quality of kumquat.

It is more painstaking to care for kumquat for Tet.
