10,000 Japanese cherry branches to be displayed in Hanoi

On February 5th, vice chairman of Hanoi City People’s Committee Ngo Van Quy signed a plan to bring 20 cherry trees and 10,000 cherry branches to be exhibited at Ly Thai To flower garden by Hoan Kiem Lake from March 10th to 12th.

Several specific flowers of Vietnam and Hanoi will be brought for display at the exhibition.

The event aims to popularize the image and cultural beauty of the Japanese land and people to Hanoians, promoting cooperation between Hanoi and Japan in the fields of culture, tourism and economy./.
