Da Lat city’s flower village

Over 1,050 families in Thai Phien flower village in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong’s Da Lat city are producing flowers on an area of 430 hectares.

Gardeners are using high technology in planting flowers in glass-houses on 350 hectares, providing over 600,000 flowers and earning VND1.2 billion per hectare.

Each year, farmer Nguyen Thi Nguyet’s family earns over VND200 million from growing daisies.

Mr. Phan Ngoc Dinh’s family harvests flowers.

Each year, Mr. Dinh’s family earns over VND350 million from daisy production.

Flowers help make local residents more prosperous.
