Lasting from 2016 to 2018 by the Ho Chi Minh city Students’ Association, the campaign has carried out a wide range of constructions for islanders, including building a sovereignty marker and the surrounding space; constructing a child playing ground; concreting roads; installing the lighting system using solar energy and upgrading the space of Tho Chu Temple; granting scholarships and notebooks to pupils; presenting 50 packages of medicine to islanders, 5 kilograms of seedlings to armed forces, 10 sets of global positioning systems (GPS) and 100 national flags to fishermen.

All aim to gradually increase residents’ material and spiritual lives, and support the building of the island to become an island district.
