Village with beautiful wall-painting in suburban Hanoi

Instead of a wall littered with advertisement papers, one section of a lane in Dong Khe village, Dan Phuong commune, Dan Phuong district, Hanoi, has been transformed with wall-paintings, contributing to changing the aspect of the locality.
Recently, the lane of Hung village has been covered with “new clothes", as the old walls are used as a canvas for vivid paintings.
The lane, over 200 meters long, offers a new face for the new-style rural area.
Drawing wall-paintings are carried out by youth union members over a nearly month.
The cost of the wall-paintings is about VND20 million,
supported by the Steering Committee of New style rural area onstruction in Dan Phuong commune.

The lane with wall-paintings is the pride of the local people and they help keep the walls clean and beautiful.
