Anti-terrorism exercise in preparation for APEC

On August 30th, 300 cadres and soldiers from the public security, coast guard, firefighting and marine forces joined an anti-terrorism exercise for ensuring security at the seaport in Da Nang city.
The rehearsal aims to help the forces practice specialized equipment in dealing with terrorists in the marine sector, and ensure security during the upcoming APEC 2017 which is scheduled in Da Nang city this November.

Hostages are rescued and taken to hospital.
