To prepare for the event, its investor, Sun Group, has invested over VND100 billion to upgrade the construction, using advanced technologies for security, satisfying the demand for international conferences.

The International Media Centre will welcome thousands of domestic and foreign journalists.
An international general hospital which was completed on September 27th using a capital of VND1.2 trillion is selected to be one of the 4 places ensuring healthcare provision for APEC.
The international terminal at the Da Nang International Airport was put into use in May, serving flights to Da Nang for attending APEC.
APEC meetings will also be held at the 37-storey Da Nang city administrative centre, which was invested with VND2 trillion and is the workplace of some 1,600 officers.
To serve APEC, Da Nang city is expanding 16 roads.
