After visiting temples, visitors can stop at the Bai Dinh Flower Valley to enjoy the beauty of hundreds of flowers.
Bai Dinh is known as the largest spiritual tourist area in Vietnam with a large complex of temples and pagodas located in the northern province of Ninh Binh.
During the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday 2019, tourists will have the chance to attend the first Spring Flower Festival in the Binh Dinh Flower Valley.
Within a nearly 15-hectare campus, the festival comprises outdoor and indoor areas displaying tens of thousands of blooming flowers. Artisans use flowers to convey many topics such as Buddhism, Vietnamese Tet space, and “Present and Future” space. Other topics, like Agriculture and Vietnam Bamboo which are familiar to people, will also shown by fresh flowers, creating a highlight for the festival.
The beautiful orchid boat is decorated in an indoor space. Orchid is also the dominant flower during the event.
Thousands of orchids are to be displayed at the festival.
Beside orchids, many typical kinds of trees and flowers of traditional Tet will join the event, creating a colorful picture.
The valley will open to tourists from 7h00 to 17h00 of February 5th (the first day of the Lunar New year) to March 20th. Entrance fees are VND50,000 for adults and VND30,000 for children.
Together with enjoying flowers, activities such national music and Ao dai performances, tea art and flower arranging art will be organized at the main stage and other spaces during the festival./.
