Visitors enjoy experiencing Japanese cherry blossom festival in Hanoi

Many local people and tourists have visited and taken photos at the Japanese cherry blossom festival at Ly Thai To flower garden, Hanoi.

The event displayed nearly 300 cherry trees of Japan and more than 20,000 cherry blossom branches, together with Vietnamese special flowers.

Diverse specific Japanese activities such as Yosakoi (a unique style of street dance performed by large teams), Japanese cuisine, Shogi (Japanese chess), and Kendama (literally “sword and ball”, a traditional cup-and-ball toy) were held. 

Visitors enjoyed Vietnamese traditional artistic performances by talented artists.

A part from decorative flowers, the event highlight  was also specific scenery models such as Vietnam’s One-Pillar pagoda and France’s Eiffel tower.

The festival will run until 22h00 on April 1st.
