Foreigners in Vietnam join hands in allocating rice to poor

The “Rice ATM” initiative in Vietnam to give rice to poor people during COVID-19 has been praised by international friends. Not only domestic sponsors, but also foreigners who are living and working in Vietnam have been joining hands to contribute to the “rice ATM”.

The initiative has been developed in diverse cities and localities, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city, Binh Thuan, Ha Nam, Thua Thien Hue, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Da Nang and Dak Lak. 

A Russian tourist in Binh Thuan carries 6 bags of rice of 50 kilograms each to a “rice ATM” to support the poor.

The mother and children provide rice to a “rice ATM” in Binh Thuan province’s Phan Thiet city.

 

“I want to help Vietnamese people with something,” the mother said.
Earlier, 2 foreigners brought rice to a “rice ATM” in Phan Thiet city, which received great commendation from social network followers.
